After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1971, Victor Lespinasse started working as a clerk at the Chicago Board of Trade, right after the precedent setting Russian grain deal of 1972. Victor was a full member of the Board of Trade from 1974 to 2007. During that time he worked for two commercial grain companies, Swiss based Andre & Co. and Paris based Louis Dreyfus. He also worked for various commission houses, such as Dean Witter and AG Edwards, as a grain analyst, utilizing both fundamental and technical aspects of the grain market.
